Carrollton Area Career Center

The Carrollton area career center is located just north of the Missouri River in an agriculture driven community of just over 4,000 people. However, our services span more than the town of Carrollton. We serve students from Carroll, Chariton, and Lafayette counties. 

Carrollton Area Career Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality career and technical training possible to each and every student. Our vision is to effectively develop in each student the skills and attitude necessary to succeed in life as a contributing member of an ever-changing society. In addition, we strive to consistently provide employers with a well-trained workforce that possesses the skills needed to meet current and future employment needs. 

High School students may apply to attend classes through their school counselor. 3-hour block classes are open to Junior and Senior students only. Some introductory courses are offered to Freshman and Sophomores from the Carrollton R-VI school district.

Carrollton Area Career Center  participates in the articulated college credit programs through Metropolitan Community College, Ozark Technical College, State Fair Community College, and State Technical College of Missouri.  The Carrollton Area Career Center also participates with Missouri State University and State Fair Community College for dual credit classes, in which students earn college and high school credit at the same time.
