Mrs. Hannah Woodward, Carrollton Area Career Center Director
Woodward graduated from Norborne High School. She holds both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from the University of Central Missouri. For the past eight years, she has worked as the 7-8 ELA Instructor and District Director of Technology in the Norborne School District. Prior to 2017, she worked as a middle school ELA instructor, a high school ELA instructor as well as a director of technology.
When asked why she wanted to make the move to the Career Center Director, Woodward replied, “I've had numerous classroom and district educational experiences and responsibilities that I have enjoyed over the past 17 years, but I have always admired the work of technical and career centers. They take learning to another level by giving students the opportunity for hands-on, real life experience. I truly believe in the mission of the CACC, and I want to help the instructors and the district continue their goal of giving students these opportunities and experiences that will affect and influence them for the rest of their lives.” “I'm really looking forward to having the opportunity to support our school district and positively impact our students and staff. I believe that true leadership stems from service, I'm excited to serve the students and staff of our district!”
Director Woodward and her husband, Eric, reside in Carrollton with their two children, Matthew (11) a student at CMS and Kate (6) a student at CES.
Welcome, Mrs. Woodward, to the Carrollton R-VII School District!!
