Best wishes to our FBLA members heading to the Missouri FBLA State Leadership Conference in Springfield. We are so proud of you!!!

We’re proud to celebrate the achievements of our students at the 2025 SkillsUSA Missouri State Leadership & Skills Conference!
TeamWorks – Missouri State Champions!
Congratulations to Braydon Hemme, Rodney Schuchmann, Chadlee Stein, and Porter Eiserer for earning 1st place in the TeamWorks competition! This contest tests students’ ability to work together to build a construction project from the ground up—including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and masonry components. Their teamwork, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills earned them a trip to Atlanta this June to represent Missouri at the SkillsUSA National Championships!
American Spirit – 2nd Place in the State!
Kudos to Madlynn Albert, Joselyn Baker, and Brody Swindler for placing 2nd in the American Spirit contest! This event challenges students to showcase their community service, patriotism, and promotion of Career and Technical Education through a detailed portfolio and presentation.
We are incredibly proud of all of these students and their instructors. Way to represent Carrollton and the Carrollton Area Career Center with excellence!

Building Trades student Chadlee Stein practices his bricklaying technique for his upcoming SkillsUSA competition. He and three other members will compete in the Teamworks competition against students from across the state of Missouri.
Good luck to the Teamworks team, Advertising Design competitors and those who present on the American Spirit project. We are so proud of you!!!

🎙🌾 Thanks to the support of the FFA Rising Sun Grant, the Carrollton Area Career Center has officially launched our brand-new Agriculture Communications Lab! 🌾🎙This innovative space is buzzing with activity as students begin developing their very own podcasts and exploring the power of ag communication and tourism. We are so excited to see this program grow!!!

With the help of upper-level Food Science students, Mrs. Kiser’s underclassmen had the opportunity to explore food science through all five senses—👃👅👀👂✋—making for an interactive and engaging learning experience.
Students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into this field by enrolling in the Food Science course at the career center as juniors and seniors 🥼🔬This rigorous course introduces students to everything from food chemistry and nutrition to microbiology, food processing, quality control, and even the sensory evaluation of foods.

At CACC, we offer fundamental courses to help students explore a variety of career paths and discover their interests. Our entry-level classes provide hands-on experiences that introduce students to different industries while building essential skills.
Recently, Fundamentals of Carpentry students have been busy with woodworking projects in the shop. Brody Huffman completed this impressive American flag project earlier this week!
These classes give underclassmen the opportunity to explore potential careers while gaining confidence in shop and job site environments. No matter the career path, CACC has an entry-level course to help students get started!
